The story began in 1996, when Colonel Soddy, now 70 years old, visited his sister and her family. However, even more than half a century later, his nightmares of intense battles and their consequences often haunted him again. Old Sodhi and young Amar began to establish connections, and Sodhi accompanied Amar to Myanmar to receive a BBC mission to shoot a documentary about students opposing the military government's struggle for freedom and democracy. In Singapore, Sodhi visited places that evoke memories of his time as a lieutenant in the British Indian Army. Lieutenant Sodhi met a beautiful photographer named Maya, who inspired him to change. Sodhi fell in love with Maya who joined the Indian National Army. Old Sodhi landed in Myanmar with Amar and was welcomed by Indian girl Rani. They were unexpectedly arrested during student protests and dismissed by the military government to suppress student riots. When the soldiers of the military government brutalized Ama and Rani, Old Sodi suddenly became a young Lieutenant Sodi and killed two Burmese soldiers to defend his team. The operation of Old Sodhi and his team fleeing Burmese soldiers was parallel to the attack by British bombers on Lieutenant Sodhi's troops. In 1944, the Indian National Army, exhausted, hungry, cold, feverish, and sick, arrived in Impal to withstand numerous difficulties. At a school run by Granny Rani, Old Soddy discovered a photo of Maya and realized that she had already died. Old Sodi finally redeemed himself, helping his young team safely cross from Myanmar to India, and fulfilling his promise to Maya. One day, he will return to Myanmar to find her. When his body is blown to ashes and glory by Burmese soldiers, he will be with her.
